Book Fort
You can tell how we feel about Chicago by looking at our list — Lindsay Hunter, Maryse Meijer, Laura Adamczyk, Aleksandar Hemon, and Jac Jemc all currently live there, and a number of our other writers have spent time there as well.
In short — we’re big fans of Chicago and its literary community, which means we’re so excited to be co-sponsoring Book Fort, a mobile literary organization that presents a three-day book fair and performance series at Pitchfork Music Festival. This year’s festival is July 20-22 in Union Park. We’re planning some crazy stuff — creative readings and collaborations with our Chicago-based writers — and we’re bringing lots of beer. And our crop tops. We hope to see you there!
